Dr. John Langel is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. He earned his undergraduate degree and optometry degree at The Ohio State University.
He completed his Ocular Disease and Primary Care residency at the Columbus and Chillicothe VA hospitals in Ohio. Dr. Langel Specializes in the medical management of ocular diseases. His interests include but are not limited to dry eye, red eye, ocular emergencies, pre and post-operative care, macular degeneration, diabetes, and glaucoma. He can also take care of refractive eye care including glasses and the full range of contact lens options.
Dr. Langel participates in annual ongoing continuing medical training and his experiences provide the tools for excellent eye care for his patients. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.
Dr. Langel, his wife, and his son live in Chardon and enjoy spending time in outdoors. He is happy and excited to be serving the Chardon area community.
